Bowgear was founded from a shared passion for archery and bowhunting and a strong desire to share our knowledge and experience with other bowhunters. When we started out ourselves, we often missed having a place where we could get honest advice, personal guidance and practical help with choosing and setting up the right bowhunting equipment. A place where there was time to make sure that the bow, arrows and accessories worked together properly from the very beginning. That is exactly what we want Bowgear to be.

Over the years, we have experienced many of the challenges that come with choosing, setting up and tuning bows. At Bowgear, we use that experience to help both new and experienced archers avoid common mistakes and build a bow setup that is accurate, reliable and suited to the individual shooter. Bowgear is about more than just selling archery equipment and compound bows. It is about sharing our passion, making the learning curve easier and helping more people experience the enjoyment and confidence that come with a properly set up bow.

Thomas

Thomas has been practicing archery for many years and has been shooting a bow for 10 years. He masters compound, recurve, and longbows and has gained extensive experience with both technique and equipment through many hours on the range.

He has a keen interest in gear and fine-tuning, and is happy to delve into the details to optimize equipment performance. As a true gear enthusiast, he closely follows developments and is always willing to share his knowledge. Thomas can also assist with setting up and adjusting compound bows, ensuring both new and experienced archers have the best possible starting point.

Mado

Mado has been shooting a bow since 2019 and shoots compound. He has a great interest in gear and gadgets and is very dedicated to his equipment and the ongoing optimization that can make a difference in the shot. He works on fine-tuning and adapting equipment to suit individual needs and prerequisites.

He pursues his great passion for bowhunting both domestically and abroad, where new terrains and hunting methods provide valuable experience. To become even more familiar with his gear, he also shoots 3D, focusing on technique, precision, and the interaction between shooter and equipment. Here, he works purposefully on judging distances, shooting angles, and stable routines.

Christopher

Christopher has been shooting with a bow since childhood and participated in competitions almost every weekend during his teenage years. In 2014, hunting took over when he passed the bowhunting test with a longbow, and since then, traditional bowhunting has been his great passion.

He is fascinated by watching the arrow fly precisely towards its target, and for him, no day is truly complete without a bow in his hand and some arrows in the air. Christopher masters traditional, recurve, and longbows and can assist with the setup of both recurve and longbows.

Anja

Anja is new to the archery world, but is passionate about sharing Bowgear's passion with others. She is responsible for the webshop, social media, and event planning, and works to create an overview, good information, and inspiring content for both new and experienced archers.

As a relative newcomer to the archery world, she has a special eye for the questions and challenges one encounters at the beginning, and she helps ensure that this knowledge is collected and shared on the site, making it easier to get off to a good start.
